Certificate of Eligibility

Candidates need a Certificate of Eligibility issued by the Solicitors Regulation Authority to sit the test(s). Note that the SRA stopped issuing certificates in 2010. If you do not have a current certificate of eligibility and you wish to qualify as and solicitor of England and Wales, you will need to apply for a certificate of eligibility for the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Scheme which has replaced the QLTT – click here for information about QLTS.
