About QLTT
The Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test (QLTT) is the conversion test that enables certain lawyers to qualify as solicitors in England and Wales.Those lawyers eligible to sit the test must be foreign lawyers or overseas lawyers qualified in jurisdictions that are recognised by the Solicitors Regulation Authority of England and Wales (the Solicitors Regulation Authority) or must be barristers qualified to practise in England and Wales. CLT is fully validated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority as an accredited testing organisation for the QLTT. Test examiners and tutors are specialists in their subject areas and have extensive experience and expertise. They are qualified solicitors who have experience of both practise and of teaching Solicitors Regulation Authority examinations.
